The Mechatronics Study Group was formed in February 2000 and is based at the Polytechnic of Namibia's Windhoek Campus. It is supported by both the Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Engineering Departments of the Polytechnic of Namibia and has received invaluable help from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
